3D Model: The Stable [003]

The opening sentence of my previous post (specifically: the heart-wrenching part about being all alone and bored) was nothing more than transparent reverse psychology designed to elicit a flood of offers from friends, family and assorted members of the local community to assist with the measuring process.

Ed was the only one to respond.

We entered the stable last Friday afternoon and after I gave him a quick tour and talked up the unlimited potential of the place, we set to work. Over the course of an hour, we made the same number of measurements it probably would have taken me three hours to record on my own, so the exploitation of Ed’s kindness is something I would recommend to all.

Improvements since the last post include the obvious addition of the stairs and the not-so-obvious addition of the floor’s supporting wooden beams. I measured those while Ed created diagrams both practical and eye-catching.

Thanks again, Edward.

  1. It was a joy. I must be the kind of person who relishes being exploited. You’ve done well here. I really like what you’ve done with the…..beams. I can’t wait to see how it all ends up, but I can’t help but feel it will end up as some kind of crack-den. Man, it’s funny the things you come up with at 4:45am when you can’t sleep.

  2. I have plans to add a crack-den-esque area under the stairs.

  4. I’ve been playing too much Resident Evil 4 on the Gamecube. All I can see in those pictures is a place for me to camp while Zombies climb up the stairs and I blast them with my shotgun. Good times.

  5. This blog is almost as bad as that loser that’s done just the two entries, one being a video made by multiple users of wordpress.

It’s been more than 12 hours since you’re last entry. I’m disgusted and I will tell everyone I know not to bother with this rubbish.

  6. Crack-den-esque area? Why have one of those when you can have a blessing of unicorns area?! I just wanted to use ‘blessing’ in a sentence.

But no crack dens, Ed and Crommo! Not on my watch!

  8. Better do what he says, JP. He has an X at the beginning of his name… and a z at the end.
